#51 – Catholic Playlist Show

Catholic Playlist #51

Thank you so much for joining us for another edition of the Catholic Playlist. Once again we find and play the best and some of the very newest contemporary Christian music, but from Catholic artists only. So this is music you won’t hear on your mainstream Christian music radio station. But we’re trying to change all that, and in that quest this playlist has a stellar lineup performers, starting with new song selections from Cooper Ray and Lee Roessler. Other performers include New Name, Katy Blythe, Josh Blakesley, Audrey Assad, and Chris Bray to name a few.

Our featured new artist this week is The Project, a musical duo that explores the martyrs, those who, through the centuries, gave their very lives for their faith, their freedoms, their communities and their friends. It’s a real musical treat that you won’t want to miss.

What do you think of the show #51? What song would you like to hear in the next show? Comment and let us know!

How do I find out information about individual songs, ie what artist goes with what song? Do you have playlists anywhere?

    • catholicplaylist

When we write and produce the show we make sure that we mention each song and artist, sometimes before the song, sometimes after the song. We do this because many are unfamiliar with these artists and we want people to know about them. So, if you listen to each show you’ll hear the title and artist to each song on the playlist. We are looking at possibly providing a playlist view from iTunes for each show. A ‘preview’ of sorts can be found at the bottom of the righthand column of the website.

Ok….I am missing something….what is the artist with the song lyrics “every day I will sing to your glory, every day I will …..” Love the song and want to purchase it…..links to iTunes or amazon music for individual artist and songs would be appreciated. Love this show.

        • The song you are referring to is “Every Day I Will Sing”, performed by Cooper Ray. It is on an album titled “Spirit & Song: Disc N”. Use the button below to go to it directly. We’ll look for an easy way to provide song/album links to help people find them faster. Thanks for the kind words and suggestion!
