Up first is Kara Klein, then Greg&Lizzy, followed by Audrey Assad and then wrapping up with Matt Maher.

Our featured new artist this week is the Pete Buncher Band, who released their latest album ‘Am I Worth Stealing’ just this week. We’ll play “Set Us Free” from them in the second segment of the show, followed by a new selection called “The Dark Side” from Kevin Heider that I’m really excited to play for you. It affected us deeply and we hope you find it as beautiful and haunting as we did.

This playlist – which has not 1 but 2 new song debuts, including the first ever EP from Katy Blythe, who is our featured new artist this week. The other debut is from Pasquale Talarico who co-wrote and recorded a song for Catholic Relief Services – an anthem of sorts called ‘One Family’. Other artists in the playlist include Jackie Bissin, Mike Mangione, Danielle Rose, Noelle Garcia, Kevin Heider, and a Tori Harris double take of 2 songs off her new EP Sweet Dolor that we haven’t played yet. Song of the Week – July 7, 2014
Our Catholic Playlist Song of the Week for July 7th comes from Greg & Lizzy. Right now Greg & Lizzy are on the road playing shows across the country, including a stop in Toledo, OH on Sunday July 27th for Exclaim!, the largest Christian music festival in Northwest Ohio. Last year Greg & Lizzy released their first album titled “To The Dust”. Drawing largely from Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, and their own experiences of relationship, love, and marriage, they share a witness unique in both it’s ability to inspire their peers and to remind their elders of the goodness of God’s plan for life and love. The title track from that album is our Catholic Playlist Song of the Week – “To The Dust”
