But this Sunday marks the start of the new Liturgical year and the Advent season, so instead of music we typically play, for the next several weeks we’ll be playing the best and some of the newest Advent and Christmas music available. Our playlist this week features music from Jackie Evancho, The Priests, Adrianne Price, Jon Sarta, Marian Grace, and the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles. The Boys of St Paul’s Choir School and their album ‘Christmas in Harvard Square’, a great new release last year, leads off our playlist with ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’.

October is the month of the Holy Rosary, so for this week’s edition of the Catholic Playlist Worship show we filled it with as many Marian songs and hymns that we could find.
The results include songs like “Immaculate Mary” by The Cathedral Singers, “Salve Regina” by L’Angelus, and “Sing of Mary” by The Glory Collective featuring Kevin Heider.
