Sharing the joy of the Gospel through music on the Catholic Playlist Worship show. Normally we’d be playing the best and some of the very newest traditional and sacred Catholic music. But this Sunday marks the start of the new Liturgical year and the Advent season, so instead of music we typically play, for the next several weeks we’ll be playing the best and yes, some of the newest Advent and Christmas music available. Our playlist this week features music from Jackie Evancho, The Priests, Adrianne Price, Jon Sarta, Marian Grace, and the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles. The most notable new release comes from The Boys of St Paul’s Choir School and their album ‘Christmas in Harvard Square’, and they lead off our playlist with ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’.
