Special Advent and Christmas Music Edition

Catholic Playlist #108Sharing the joy of the Gospel through music – this is the Catholic Playlist show. Normally we’d be playing the best and some of the very newest contemporary Christian music from Catholic artists only. But this Sunday marks the start of the new Liturgical year and the Advent season, so instead for the next several weeks we’ll be playing the best and yes, some of the newest Advent and Christmas music available, including some brand new releases in the coming weeks.

Our playlist this features special music from Matt Maher (“Silent Night”), Josh Blakesley (“Love Has Captured the Night”), Sarah Hart (“Christ Is Lord”), Marian Grace, Ike Ndolo, Curtis Stephan, and The Boy’s Choir of St Paul’s Choir School sings “O Come All Ye Faithful” too. Enjoy!

NCYC 2015 Edition

Catholic Playlist #106It’s our NCYC Catholic Playlist show! NCYC 2015 is next week, November 19-21, 2015 in Indianapolis and all of the artists in the show this week will be performing! This is one of our favorite and easiest shows to produce each year because we can’t go wrong selecting songs from the best Catholic artists of contemporary Christian music. In past years we only knew of a small handful of artists so we couldn’t fill a whole show, but this year there are so many talented artists appearing at NCYC this year that we can’t include them all!

Appearing in the playlist this week are the co-hosts of NCYC 2015 Jackie Francois-Angel and Paul J Kim, along with an all star lineup of Matt Maher, Josh Blakesley, PJ Anderson, Audrey Assad, Jeremy & Ryan, Lee Roessler, Curtis Stephan, WAL, Steve Angrisano and Pasquale Talarico.

Catholic Playlist Worship – #32

Catholic Playlist Worship #2October is the month of the Holy Rosary, so for this week’s edition of the Catholic Playlist Worship show we filled it with as many Marian songs and hymns that we could find.

The results include songs like “Immaculate Mary” by The Cathedral Singers, “Salve Regina” by L’Angelus, and “Sing of Mary” by The Glory Collective featuring Kevin Heider. Of course the show wouldn’t be complete with “Ave Maria To Thee Holy Virgin” by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist and “Hail Mary, Full of Grace” by the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles. Oh, and “Ave Maria” by Andrea Bocelli isn’t to be missed too!
