We’ve reached the 4th Sunday of Advent which means that Christmas and the birth of Christ is very near. We wrap up our special Advent and Christmas music series with a great list of songs including some familiar favorites in these final episodes of Catholic Playlist and Catholic Playlist Worship for 2015.

It’s our NCYC Catholic Playlist show! NCYC 2015 is next week, November 19-21, 2015 in Indianapolis and all of the artists in the show this week will be performing! This is one of our favorite and easiest shows to produce each year because we can’t go wrong selecting songs from the best Catholic artists of contemporary Christian music. In past years we only knew of a small handful of artists so we couldn’t fill a whole show, but this year there are so many talented artists appearing at NCYC this year that we can’t include them all!

It’s our 100th episode! It’s been a joy to produce and host the Catholic Playlist from the beginning, and this week for our 100th playlist we take a look back and celebrate some of the best and newest contemporary Christian music from Catholic artists that we’ve discovered and enjoyed along the way. We start the playlist with some of the most familiar names in the industry and then transition to some of our favorite new artists that we’ve all come to enjoy – Tori Harris, Connor Flanagan, PJ Anderson, Matt Faley, Alverlis, Katy Blythe, Dante Schmitz, and Taylor Tripodi. We also celebrate the diversity of the music to be found these days as Catholic hip hop artist Pontifex, aka Fr Claude Burns, makes an appearance in the playlist.
