We’ve got a great playlist this week that features Collin Raye, Connor Flanagan, Jaime Thietten, John Finch, Katy Blythe, Luke Spehar, PJ Anderson and New Name; plus we added a new track from Matt Maher’s new album ‘Saints & Sinners’ somewhere in the playlist – stay tuned for that later in the show.

The last segment leads off with a unique song from Kevin Heider that celebrates the feast of St Brigid which is on Feb 1st, and last but not least is our new featured artist, Teresa Peterson who has a new EP coming out on Feb 10th. Playing the best and some of the newest sacred and traditional Catholic music available for your listening enjoyment is all a part of sharing the joy of the Gospel through the power of music. The playlist this week features Kitty Cleveland, Friar Alessandro, Andrea Bocelli, Collin Raye, and Jackie Evancho – who by the way just released a new album a few weeks ago. I didn’t realize that when I came across her music while browsing the gift shop at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, Alabama. I figured if Mother Angelica would sell her music then it’s been approved for this show!

We start off the playlist with “Dormi Jesu” from Jackie Evancho and her new album called “Awakenings”, followed by “The Lord’s Prayer” from Andrea Bocelli and “Make Me A Channel of Your Peace” from Friar Alessandro. Later on we start our last segment with “Ubi Caritas” from the brand new album titled “Ineffable” released just last week by Simonetta & Fourever. We hope you enjoy this week’s playlist!

It’s the BIG 5-0! Thanks to our great listeners this is the 50th Catholic Playlist show and we think it’s the best one yet. We have brand new music from Brandon Fitts of Delmore and a new song from Marie Miller, as well as songs from Steve Angrisano, Tori Harris, Jackie Francois-Angel, Sarah Kroger, Out of Darkness and more. Our featured new artist this week is Andrea Thomas, a talented singer who has recorded with country music star Collin Raye. You can hear both Andrea and Collin in the second segment.

Did you know that virtually all of the artists we play on the show are independent artists? This means that they not only write and perform their own music, but also have to foot the bill for recording studio time, professional mastering, post-production, and so on. Please support these artists by buying their music, or even better, booking them for a conference, parish event or even an intimate house concert.
