The season of Lent goes on and this week’s Catholic Playlist Worship episode is the next playlist of Lent themed music for your enjoyment. Jon Sarta offers instrumental versions of “Hosea” and “Jesus, Remember Me”, and we have 2 selections from Lent at Ephesus by the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles – “Jesus, My Love” and “O Sacred Head Surrounded”.
We recently learned of the group Voces8 and we feature their performance of “Ubi Caritas”. For a little change of pace we have a few non-chorale songs in the playlist, namely Tom Booth with “Sacred Silence” and Chris Muglia’s “I Need a Savior”. From top to bottom, this is one of our best Lent themed playlists yet.
