Jingle Bell Java is Back!

Support the Catholic Playlist Show

Jingle Bell JavaIf you or someone you know are coffee lovers (and they have tea too!), we have a great way for you to not only get great coffee and gifts, but also to support the Catholic Playlist Show too. Our friends at Mystic Monk Coffee will donate a portion of any purchase you make when you use any of the links on our site (or click the photo)!

We highly recommend their most popular flavor, Jingle Bell Java, which is only available now during the Holiday season. In fact, I bought a 5 lb bag of Jingle Bell Java last year for my wife to enjoy well beyond Advent and Christmas! They always have special blends each year, like their Christmas Blend 2015, so there’s something for anyone’s taste.

Holy Family Communications, the producer of the Catholic Playlist Show, has been serving Mystic Monk Coffee at the events they sponsor for years. It’s great tasting coffee and it helps the Carmelite Monks of Wymoning keep their monastery and mission going.

Please consider supporting us by getting yourself some great coffee and some great gifts for your friends and family. It’s a win-win-win!

Now get FREE shipping on orders over $45 or a FREE GIFT CARD on orders over $100!

And we THANK YOU for listening and your support!

Our playlist this features special music from Matt Maher (“Silent Night”), Josh Blakesley (“Love Has Captured the Night”), Sarah Hart (“Christ Is Lord”), Marian Grace, Ike Ndolo, Curtis Stephan, and The Boy’s Choir of St Paul’s Choir School sings “O Come All Ye Faithful” too. Enjoy!

Special Advent and Christmas Episode

Catholic Playlist Worship #38Once again we share the joy of the Gospel through music on the Catholic Playlist Worship show. Normally we’d be playing the best and some of the very newest traditional and sacred Catholic music. But this Sunday marks the start of the new Liturgical year and the Advent season, so instead of music we typically play, for the next several weeks we’ll be playing the best and some of the newest Advent and Christmas music available. Our playlist this week features music from Jackie Evancho, The Priests, Adrianne Price, Jon Sarta, Marian Grace, and the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles. The Boys of St Paul’s Choir School and their album ‘Christmas in Harvard Square’, a great new release last year, leads off our playlist with ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’.

As usual, you can find the songs in playlist #9 in iTunes using these links:

Catholic Playlist #107

Catholic Playlist #107Thanks for streaming the show and we share the joy of the Gospel through the power of contemporary Christian music. And not just any music, but some of the best and even the very newest music released today by Catholic artists. Next week the first Sunday of Advent will be upon us and we’re going to be playing only Advent and Christmas music during the season – and there is a lot of great music here too! So don’t miss our Advent music shows throughout the season coming up next week, but until then, we’ve got another great playlist put together with tracks from Kara Klein, Dave Moore, Mikey Needleman, Taylor Tripodi, Fr Kevin McGoldrick, Dante Schmitz and others.

If you’re a fan of country music this next segment of the show is for you! Starting with our new featured artist this week, Wade Talley! We first heard Wade’s music at a Facebook group called Catholic Music Insiders – its a place for Catholic singers and songwriters to share their music, events and activities to help promote their work – and we thought he deserved a spot on the Catholic Playlist.

Wade TalleyWade grew up in Corning, Kansas and where he married his high school sweetheart and now has seven children on this earth and twin girls in heaven. He’s got a great story about his inspiration for writing songs that we’ll look to tell in a future show, but he just released his second album “To Sing Your Song” earlier this month, a follow up to his debut album “A Shot In The Dark”. His songs all center on themes of faith and family and speak of being a husband and a father as well as how to get through hard times. Wade makes his Catholic Playlist debut with “You Can’t Take It With You” in playlist #107. You can learn more about him and his music at www.wadetalleymusic.com

NCYC 2015 Edition

Catholic Playlist #106It’s our NCYC Catholic Playlist show! NCYC 2015 is next week, November 19-21, 2015 in Indianapolis and all of the artists in the show this week will be performing! This is one of our favorite and easiest shows to produce each year because we can’t go wrong selecting songs from the best Catholic artists of contemporary Christian music. In past years we only knew of a small handful of artists so we couldn’t fill a whole show, but this year there are so many talented artists appearing at NCYC this year that we can’t include them all!

Appearing in the playlist this week are the co-hosts of NCYC 2015 Jackie Francois-Angel and Paul J Kim, along with an all star lineup of Matt Maher, Josh Blakesley, PJ Anderson, Audrey Assad, Jeremy & Ryan, Lee Roessler, Curtis Stephan, WAL, Steve Angrisano and Pasquale Talarico.
