In playlist #71 we play Matt Maher’s latest single, plus music from Shaun Garrison, Tori Harris, Marie Miller, NOVUM, Steve Angrisano, and Collin Raye. The last segment leads off with a unique song from Kevin Heider that celebrates the feast of St Brigid which is on Feb 1st, and last but not least is our new featured artist, Teresa Peterson who has a new EP coming out on Feb 10th. Catholic Playlist #70And welcome everyone to another Catholic Playlist show, where we share the joy of the Gospel through the power of music. How? By finding and playing the best and some of the very newest contemporary Christian music, but from Catholic artists only. I’m not kidding when I say that we play the very newest music, because this week we’re pleased to debut the first single from Mikey Needleman’s latest album called ‘Your Ways’. We’ll be featuring that in the second segment of the show. We will also be playing a special song from Danielle Rose called ‘Little Flower’ from her Culture of Life album as we wrap up Respect for Life week and the annual March for Life in Washington DC. The playlist also features a great lineup of other performers – like Kara Klein, Andrea Thomas, Delmore, Joe Zambon, Luke Spehar, Jackie Bissin and Audrey Assad.

#65 Catholic Playlist Show – Advent Special

This scripture verse serves to remind us of what we are to be expecting soon here in the Advent season as we transition to the second week of Advent. We hope and pray that your Advent has started off well, and this week we continue playing music of the Advent and Christmas season, where we’ll hear a couple of songs from L’Angelus, a couple of traditional songs from the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles and more, including a fresh and unique arrangement of Silent Night from Marie Miller.

Be on the lookout for new music in the coming weeks as Dee Simone’s first EP titled ‘Lovesick’ is due out on Friday Dec 12th, the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. And then on Monday Dec 15th is “O Come Let Us Adore: A Christmas Collective”, an album featuring several artists you’ve heard on the show before performing original arrangements of some of your favorite Advent and Christmas songs. Some of the artists include Sarah Kroger, Greg & Lizzy, Kara Klein, PJ Anderson and Josh Blakesley.

This week is not a usual playlist. Normally we’d be playing the best and some of the very newest contemporary Christian music from Catholic artists only. But this Sunday marks the start of the new Liturgical year and the Advent season, so instead for the next several weeks we’ll be playing the best and yes, some of the newest Advent and Christmas music available, including some brand new releases. In fact, I got wind that new Christmas music might be coming from Tori Harris, that’s not confirmed yet, but if it happens, you can bet we’ll be playing it!

Our playlist this features music from Matt Maher, Marian Grace, Ike Ndolo, Curtis Stephan, the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles, and The Boy’s Choir of St Paul’s Choir School too. Leading off playlist #64 is Matt Maher with “Come to the Water – I Will Run” which is from a compilation album titled “Songs for Advent and Christmas”
