This hasn’t always been true however for the Catholic Playlist Worship version of the show. After 62 episodes of the show, we don’t see the same kind of energy being put into traditional, sacred and classical music. Maybe we aren’t trying as hard, but it seems true to us. That’s probably why the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist and the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles from the De Montfort Music label took the classical music world by storm the last couple of years.

This week we find a new artist to share with you from the sacred music side. Lorraine Hess joins the Worship show this week with “Soul of Christ”, a new arrangement of the Anima Christi prayer. Jack Cassidy smoothly sings “Brian’s Hymn (When I Turn to You)” and the sisters of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of the Apostles beautifully offer “Lauda Sion”. Other performers include Collin Raye, Liz Christian, Kitty Cleveland, Steve Angrisano and more.
